Thröstur Björgvinsson, PhD, ABPP

Co-Director

He has developed a national and international reputation as a clinical innovator, particularly in the implementation of cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) for the treatment of severe anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders.

Naomi Zwecker, PhD

Co-Director

Dr. Zwecker is a licensed psychologist in California (#28363) and Texas (#36219), with considerable experience treating depression and anxiety disorders, particularly OCD.

Bjarne Hansen, PhD

Director, Bergen Center for Brain Plasticity

Bjarne Hansen, PhD is the director of the Bergen 4 Day Clinic at the Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway. He is also the director of Bergen Center for Brain Plasticity and a professor in Clinical Psychology at University of Bergen, Norway.

Anushka Gokhale, PsyD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Gokhale is a licensed clinical psychologist (#33499) in the state of California. She primarily utilizes behavioral treatment (Exposure and Response Prevention) as well as mindfulness-based therapies in her clinical work.

Anna Shanazari, PhD

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Shanazari is a licensed psychologist in California (#34760). She utilizes evidence-based treatment models, including ERP and mindfulness-based interventions, to provide therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Emily Hanna, PsyD, LCSW

Psychological Associate

Dr. Hanna is a registered psychological associate (PSB94027714), and a licensed clinical social worker in the states of California and Michigan. She is passionate about providing collaborative treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults with OCD, anxiety, and body-focused repetitive behaviors.

Training and Teaching

The team at the OCD & Anxiety Program of Southern California recently completed intensive training in ways to provide Concentrated Exposure and Response Prevention treatments.
