Diana Matthiessen, ASW

Associate Clinical Social Worker
Diana Matthiessen is an associate clinical social worker (ASW122238). She received her B.A. in psychology from Williams College and M.S.W. in mental health from Boston College. While in graduate school, Diana worked  as a residential counselor at McLean Hospital’s Child and Adolescent OCDI, a residential treatment unit specializing in treating adolescents with OCD. There, she provided Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) in individual and group formats. She also completed her graduate school internship at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center, treating young adults with severe mental illness.
Diana has worked in a variety of settings, including high school counseling, virtual outpatient, and community mental health. In addition to treating OCD, Diana has experience providing treatment for depression, anxiety disorders, body focused repetitive behaviors, and hoarding and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. Diana enjoys using humor and playfulness to support clients in challenging their fears and is passionate about providing evidence-based care to individuals with OCD and anxiety.
